September 2009
- Briefing of new members on 08 mechanical system.
- Conduct a phased maintenance and overhaul on 2008 fleet. Two robots at a time. Starting with worst condition.
- Disassembly and Cleaning
- Modifying motor shafts by putting in holes for set screws.
- Investigate part failures and problems.

Drivetrain
- Procure appropriate carpet samples.
- Design & Build test rig. Jack up 1 robot w/ small bocks, restrain it, and run 1 wheel on samples.
- Compare with other teams omni rollers.
- Develop conclusions and recommendations based on tests conducted.
- Work with software team to get full movement performance metrics of last years robot.

Kicker
- Work with electrical team on custom solenoid design.

- Work with software team to formulate a testing time line for last years dribblers and construct performance metrics.
