How to create a calendar event

The RoboJackets calendar is managed through WordPress along with the rest of our website. Here are the steps to create a new calendar event.

  1. Visit https://robojackets.org/wp-admin. This will send you through GT Login if you're not already signed in. If you get an error message, stop and contact RJIT with your GT username.
  2. Click Events in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Add New at the top of the page.
  4. Fill in the event title at the top along with the start and end times.
  5. Set a location for the event (e.g. "RoboJackets Shop")
  6. Select a category from the right sidebar, otherwise your event will not show up on the website.
  7. Set a description for the event if appropriate.
