In order not to manually input parameters for every robot when solving problems, which is extremely time-consuming, we want to use the silicon serial number chip for every robot's mechanical base this year. These chips will give every robot a unique serial number and they will simplify the software team's problem-solving process by systematically identifying robot's mechanical base.

And this is the chip we want to use for 2015 design:

DigiKey Part Number : 24AA02UIDT-I/OTCT-ND
Price for 10 : 2.04 USD
Interface : IC, 2-Wire Serial
Voltage Supply : 1.7 V ~ 5.5 V
DataSheet : http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/20005202A.pdf
