Basic Agenda

Friday

2:30pm - 4:00pm - Event Prep & Setup

  • KOP arrives from 2:30 to 3:30
    Inventory & Team Loading Prep (7 People)
  • Build field (4 People & the Bobs)
    Should be left behind curtians
  • Field size 26' x 26' plus

Saturday

6:30am - 8:00am - Event Setup

  • Post direction Signs (1 Person & SUV, Hatchback, Crossover) These are provided by Ferst Center
    Ferst & Hemphill, Ferst & North, Ferst & Regents, Ferst & Parking Lot entrances, Ferst & Cherry,
    6 Signs Total
  • Move over robots to demo gallery (4 People & F-350)

    2 RoboCup, IGVC, BattleBots, Time permitting last years FIRST Robot

8:30am - 9:00am - Teams Arrive

  • Teams are to park in the Student Center Lot, Overflow to be provided in adjacent lot
  • Sign-in (1 people)
    Hand-out KOP voucher
    Printed directions to back of Ferst center
    Ask if they will be using the problem parts
    Ensure that the correct teams get control kits
    If workshop team ask if they would like us to move their kit over to MRDC (F-350)

  • Teams given appropriate parts (x4 people)

12:00pm - Lunch

  • Pizza for volunteers
  • Teams find food on their own
  • Break-down of field
  • Workshop set-up

1:00pm - 5:00pm - Workshops

  • Rooms 2407 and 2406 of MRDC
  • Start off with presentation in 2407
  • Split up groups to work on both parts
