RoboWrestling
RoboWrestling specializes in autonomous robot combat in the style of Japanese Sumo tournaments. The field is a metal ring that allows our robots (which are equipped with magnets) to simulate real sumo wrestlers’ sturdiness.
RoboWrestling or Sumo, as it was known previously, first started under Battlebots in 2017 and was officially made its own team in 2020. Every year, RoboWrestling competes in the All-Japan Sumo Tournament in Tokyo, Japan. In the future, we may compete in Canada and Mexico.
