- Results: 5-2
- Bracket Style: Double Elimination
- All matches
- JD Loss vs Torbor v2
- took out a spacer in the shell before the match because we thought we didnt need it (we did)
- this made spinning up the shell suck so we lost jd cause of control
- JD Win vs Jinx
- shell sheared in half at the layer lines but it still worked lol
- this shell was printed without an enclosure so it came out a lot weaker
- TO Win vs Whatchamacallit
- Aaron achieved his one and only life goal
- TO Win vs Tomfooleri
- #riptomfooleri
- #180i>>>tomfooleri
- KO Win vs Artificial Watermelon Flavoring
- we got lucky they couldn't self right because they were really good at driving
- TO Win vs Torbor v2
- KO Loss vs Swoop Plastic
- shell broke at the spokes
- in hindsight probably shouldve switched the shell out
- JD Loss vs Torbor v2

Problems
- the weapon motor gear was originally connected to gear at the shaft, the shell didn't spin cuz we needed a higher gear ratio. we later changed to making a ring gear in the inside of the shell and it fixed our problem. so gear ratios important
- there was not a lot of space for electronics, but we figured it out with prayers (hot glue and zipties)
- probably shouldve made the shell spokes thicker
- driving was a very rough because the center of gravity wasnt centered left/right
- forks are the death of us
- shell was a little unbalanced so we never spun up past like 50% because it made it so unstable (it jumped). we probably could hit 3600+ rpm but we never did more than 1800 lol
Good aspects
- it hit pretty hard, most of our wins were through tapout or ko and we tore the weapon completely off of jinx with half a shell
- zip ties, hot glue, and electrical tape were good enough to keep the electronics in, nothing ever fell off
- also nothing ever failed electronically which might have been a miracle (just make sure electronics are super secure)
- self righting worked like perfectly every time
Changes/Improvements
- thicken the shell spokes
- very hard to drive so tangent drive to something else probably cuz no space for full 4wd (tank tread drive?)
