The field is a metal ring that allows our robots (which are equipped with magnets) to simulate real sumo wrestlers’ sturdiness.<br /> <br /> RoboWrestling or Sumo, as it was known previously, first started under Battlebots in 2017 and was officially made its own team in 2020. Every year, RoboWrestling competes in the All-Japan Sumo Tournament in Tokyo, Japan.
