• New Staff with authority over SCC
  • Sterling's new boss Dr. Q (No other info given other than he is asian)
  • Dr. Bill Wepfer - Chair of Sterling's Dept
  • Off-road will set-up times for both of them to visit shop before CAT comes
• Prep for CAT on Thursday Jan 17th
  • Off-road offers to mop floor
  • Sweep leaves from front area
  • Sink won't get set-up before Thursday. Needs to be hidden in women's bathroom
  • Sterling got those nice signs for free. He put an order in Aug got them in Dec
  • We hope to hang the main sign using chain across the front the building, in front of the doors
  • Will require man-lift and materials Off-road has volunteered to help
  • Also motor-sports has offered to get sign coated in line-x
• Machine shop close to Tech is offering its services free to SCC students
  • Unfortunately the only CNC machine they have is a Mazak which doesn't take G-code
  • Its own doesn't know Mazak's proprietary language hence he offers time on it to anyone who does
  • Huge machine
• Motor Sports and Wrek Racing would like a hydraulic tube bender. Sterling has it on his list to order
  • In meantime they will use Off-roads manual bender
• Doraville Custom Machine Shop offers its services to SCC at discounted price
• Top of fishbowl will be cleaned and organized for CAT
• Brian will be going with Off-road to dump tires
• There was more discussion about getting CNC lathe
  • All team leaders agreed that space concessions will have to be made if new equipment is purchased
  • Though some feel that Off-road's insistence on placing lathe in an enclosed space is not necessary.
