Meeting Minutes-Officers Meeting Monday Sept 10 2007

Updates
- Getting access to 555 14th St
- In order to get the space we must get approval from Space Planning, then write up and sign a lease, then the lease must be approved by the Board of Regents
- 2-8 month process
- The ball is in their court
- In the meantime we wait on new space in the COC
- Bose, Agilent, and the ECE development office
- Talked with Etta Pittman. She wants to help us get money from different sponsors.
- Also met with Bose. They want to find ways to recruit, so we mentioned giving us money in a way similar to GM or CAT.
- Also going to meet with Agilent on Wednesday
- Homecoming
- Lets enter something in this year
- Wreck Parade a possible opportunity for metal mayhem!

Mars Society
- R/C mars rover for university competition
- Looking for technical help
- Also want to use our machine shop
- We won't worry about managing the project or money
- We do ask they meet in TIN
- We can give them support and are looking for an official liaison (opportunity for sophomore or junior)

- Training sessions are going to start on Sunday and will be on Sundays only
- ME and EE actual sessions
- CS tutorials with incentive
