RoboJackets Meeting- Sunday March 11, 2007
No taking on projects that don’t have year deadline

RoboCup Rescue:
- Need help in designing and constructing treaded arms for Rescue Robot

Robocup
- Received Conditionally Eligible status for competition
- Just had a design review
- Starting construction of Rev. 1 and finishing construction of Rev. 0

IGVC
- mechanical base mostly completed
- motor control system operational
- working on getting vision operational
- will have human control shortly
- developed robot-server client and will shared for whole club

Scott’s project management software
- RoboCup will use software to test and debug the system, and will try to transition the entire club into using it next year

Battle bots
- Not much going on
- Built a replacement wedge

FIRST
- 32nd place at VCU
- Bot works great
- Won engineering inspirational
- Fix it window Monday - Tuesday
- Bought tool chest for competition purposes
- Will purchase tools strictly for competition purposes
- Considering purchase of general use RoboJackets trailer
- Wear robojackets shirts at competitions

- 2 battlebots guys will organize the event

- Brian will organize it

- Ryan will make a nominations page on wiki
- Explained officer positions
- President- external relations
- Vice President- support president with internal affairs
- Secretary- documenting activities, absentee sheets
- Treasurer- finances and updates purchases and accounts, financial planning and funding
- PR chair- external promotions, generation of promotional materials, t-shirts, maintaining website
