March 22 Test
Test 1 - Stabilized Flight
Test 1A - Unpowered Stabilized Flight
- The UAV will be launched and be placed into autonomous control.
- The UAV will fly in a straight line for 1-2 minutes without power.
- The UAV will gather sensor readings while flying. These readings include GPS, compass, and imagery.
- The safety pilot will assume control and land the UAV.
- Scenario End.
Test 1B - Powered Stabilized Flight
- The UAV will be launched and be placed into autonomous control.
- The UAV will fly in a straight line for 1-2 minutes without power.
- The UAV will gather sensor readings while flying. These readings include GPS, compass, and imagery.
- The safety pilot will assume control and land the UAV.
- Scenario End.
Test 2 - Waypoint Orbit
- A UAV will be launched and be placed into autonomous control.
- The UAV will fly to a preprogrammed waypoint.
- The UAV will orbit that waypoint with a radius of 20-40 meters for 2-5 minutes.
- The UAV will gather sensor readings while orbiting. These readings include GPS, compass, and imagery.
- The safety pilot will assume control and land the UAV.
- Scenario End.
- A UAV will be launched and be placed into autonomous control.
- The UAV will fly to up to ten preprogrammed waypoints in succession.
- The UAV will orbit the final waypoint with a radius of 20-40 meters for 1-2 minutes.
- The UAV will gather sensor readings while orbiting. These readings include GPS, compass, and imagery.
- The safety pilot will assume control and land the UAV.
- Scenario End.
