Accomplished

Mechanical:

  • Started working on bottom plate.
  • Prepared gearbox stock for Haas.
  • Edited and prepared gears for Water-Jet.
  • Added remaining retaining rings in drum shaft.

Electrical:

  • Worked on batteries.
    • Disassembled and started soldering a new pack.
    • Add shrink-wrap and foam to first pack.

Accomplished

Mechanical:

  • Counter bored plastic armor.
  • Pocketed top plate.
  • Finished machining drum pulley
  • Water Jet:
    • Three teeth (now have two sets of teeth)
    • Three pairs of skids.
  • Started to Haas the sides.
    • Problems:
      • Part seemed to shift a little.
      • End mill broke from plunging to deep.


Electrical:

  • Made a new battery. (need to order shrink wrap)

Mechanical:

  • Shaved down plastic drum support.
  • Started to lathe drum pulley.
  • Started to make weapon motor mounts.
  • Taught some master-cam.

Electrical:

  • Fixed the LED robot is on indicator.
  • Discharged a battery for later modification.

Mechanical:

  • Weapon shaft key slot cut on one shaft. (Key was lose need to investigate a different end mill)
  • Water Jet:
    • Weapon Motor Mount
    • Side Plastic Armor
    • Plastic Drum Support
    • Metal Drum Support
    • Bottom Plate

Electrical:

  • Fixed Fail Safe (Instructions have been printed and place in the radio controller's box.).
  • Disassembled old battery and reassembled to match the CAD.
  • Charged and Tested with positive results. (Need to have a Vibration Test)

  • Organized Shelf Space.

  • Finished Counter boring wheel armor.
  • Fixed CAD adding space for Tolerances.

Electrical:

  • Channels physically switched and tested.
  • Added LED Light as Live weapon warning.
  • Fail Safe Still Not fixed.

Notes:

  • On Jan 31 water jetted one S7 tool steel tooth.
  • Received large order and organized and inventoried items.

Mechanical:

  • Added retaining ring slots. (Tool broke did not reach full depth.)
  • Started counter boring the wheel armor.

Electrical:

  • Tested electrical circuit.
  • Figured out the trim issue on of the channels have to be physically switched.

  • Finished the second Weapon Shaft, missing retaining ring slot. Need to add key slot to both shafts.
  • Hass wheel armor.

Electrical:

  • Tested electrical circuit.
  • Fail Safe and motor trim need work.

Broke into three group.

  • Weapon Team

Mechanical:

Changed weapon length. Added bolt pattern to gear box. Added matching bolt pattern on bottom plate. Added bolt pattern for motor mounts to bottom plate. Found bolts for skids. Designed weapon pulleys.

Electrical:

Calculated current draw. Researched Batteries. Researched Brush-less motors.
