Objective

To host a free and successful FTC Scrimmage for any team capable of showing up. With two fields we could accommodate 30 teams(?). At 5 minute interval per match each team would get 8-9 matches.

At present there is a total of 2hrs and 45 min of match time and 1hr of practice time.

[From Mannie: Georgia FTC only has one set of field elements at this time. It will cost another $350-$450 to build another one for the competition to get two fields. Also, your match cycle time of 5 minutes may be a little low - especially in the early rounds. I recommend you plan an average cycle time of 7 minutes (assuming we get the FCS in time to all the teams). For 30 teams, you would get 4 matches/team with a 45 minute lunch break (not an hour) with only 1 field. Competition would go from 10:45 til 3:00 with a 45-minute lunch thrown in. If we had a second field, you can possibly reduce the cycle time to 5 minutes, but you would need a complete 2nd set of referees, field resetters, queuers, and more queuers. ]
